Meixco's story

A couple years ago I went to Cancun, Mexico and we were just getting ready to go canoeing in some caves. we all get on the bus and we get to this station where a taxi picks you up. Its a little sketchy because the drivers look no that friendly. Anyway we finally find a taxi after waiting like 20 minutes. We tell the man where we want to go and were on our way. After being in the car listening to these weird songs and awkward silence we finally get to our destination. We get out of the car and we start to get out and start walking all of a sudden we hear a yelling. It was the taxi driver yelling. We were all a bit nervous because we didn't really know what he was saying. He said " you have to pay for ride." we were all were relieved. We were walking back to the taxi and he says  "100 pesos." We were like what the heck, it was like only a 15 minute ride ? Then he stared to get mad and we were worried he was going to call the police, so we just paid him and left asap. This was one of my scariest moments on any of my trips and I hope this will never happen again!
